Mainstage Play: Sept 12-29, 2024
Storm Update:
With the impending potential storm, we will be canceling our Friday performance of Blithe Spirit to allow our cast and volunteers time to prepare for the weather.
Saturday and Sunday are still planned to go forward until we either have better storm guidance or after the storm has passed on Friday, and we can assess the situation.
If the shows go forward, we will try to accommodate the patrons from Friday into the final two shows. If Friday is the only chance to attend, we will issue you a future ticket credit, or you may request a refund by emailing the boxoffice@theatretallahassee.org. !!Please do not call until next week if you need to speak to someone on the phone (we are short-staffed this week and overwhelmed with incoming calls)!!
We will keep an eye on things and update everyone as needed.

Meet the fussy and cantankerous novelist, Charles Condomine, who finds himself haunted, quite literally, by the ghost of his late first wife, Elvira. Clever, persistent, and keenly aware of Charles’ flaws, Elvira is summoned by the eccentric and whimsical Madame Arcati, a self-proclaimed “happy medium.” As tensions rise and personalities clash, a mishap leads to the accidental death of Charles’ current wife, Ruth. Now, Ruth joins Elvira in the afterlife, leaving Charles at the mercy of two mischievous spirits who delight in tormenting him for eternity. In Noel Coward’s “Blithe Spirit,” prepare for a supernatural comedy of errors where the living and the dead collide, resulting in a delightfully chaotic tale that will leave you laughing and thoroughly entertained.
