A “Live” Radio Play

by Joe Landry

The Theatre Tallahassee staff brings you this special virtual event: a “live” radio play in the grand tradition of radio plays, featuring two of Alfred Hitchcock’s best tales, “The Lodger” and “The 39 Steps.” Our versatile cast take on all the roles, accents, and many of the sound effects to bring these stories to life!

M. Derek Nieves, Michael Tamayo, and Brian Davis, in a scene from “Vintage Hitchcock.”

Featuring Brian Davis, Melissa Findley, M. Derek Nieves, Jessy Reaves, and Michael Tamayo, with Jennie Seitz as the Announcer, and jingles provided by Sarah Matlow.

This virtual event is available “on demand” Nov 13 – 15th.

Tickets are available now for preorder. Cost: $9.95

This event is presented through Broadway On Demand. Once you’ve purchased your ticket, you can watch at your convenience any time Nov 13-15. You will need to watch on a device connected to the internet.

UPDATE: If you attempted to watch yesterday and were unable to, the stream should be fixed now. The problems we experienced were on BROADWAY ON DEMAND’s platform, and they have agreed to extend our performance through Sunday to make up for the problems yesterday. You now have until Sunday, Nov 15 to watch this production. We will be switching to a different streaming platform for future events.

(Please note: this virtual event is NOT part of our standard season, and the Four Ticket Promise vouchers cannot be applied to it. Our first virtual season show will be The Lifespan of a Fact, available later this fall.)
